At Patriot Forestry Maintenance and Sawmill Services, we believe in responsible land stewardship, retention of property values, and long-term ecological health. Our mission is to provide an exceptional service to customers while striking a balance between long-term ecological sustainability and current usability/aesthetics.

We help your dreams become reality. East Texas has a way of reclaiming most, if not all things, not maintained. What was once a source of enjoyment can quickly become unmanageable and unmaintainable without the right equipment and expertise. Challenge accepted...this is where Patriot Forestry shines.

Our Process
Getting Started
Getting started is often the hardest part!
Understand Customer Goals
Understanding your desired outcome is critical! Without a clear understanding of your goals, reaching them will be difficult. A deliberate conversation is required, as well as, a walk of your property.
Property Analysis
Each property is unique, as is the goal of each customer. Patriot utilizes GPS mapping to define work areas which helps to provide a clear understanding for all parties. The scope of work is further defined based on tree species, topography, etc.
Detailed Quote
After understanding customers goals and visiting your property, a detailed quote will be provided. The quote will include GPS mapping of the work area, detailed scope of work, and estimated timeline from project start to end.
Quota Approval/ Modification
If you have questions on the quote or need to modify the quote for any reason...no problem. We want the end result to exceed your expectations so getting this correct is important. We want you to feel both comfortable and confident. When you are ready, accepting the quote will lock in the scope of work and we move on to scheduling.
Seeing Results
This is where the fun begins!
Scheduling
Your time and expectations are important. Occasionally weather delays occur but, for the most part, we are an all weather kind of company. Once we have solidified a beginning date, we work very hard to meet that timeline. Nothing is more frustrating than waiting for a service to begin.
Progress Reports
Some projects last a day while others span several weeks. Regardless of the project length, daily progress reports are sent via email. The reports include a GPS tracking map of work completed, as well as, before/after photos. Communication is important. We would rather over communicate as opposed to leaving you wondering about the progress of your project.
Live your life, Enjoy your land
When your project is complete, we are happy to conduct a post-project property walk-thru upon request. If you would rather forego the formalities and start enjoying your land, we completely understand.
